The God of Mischief is back, and this time he’s bringing the laughs. Loki Season 2 picks up right where the first season left off, with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) trying to figure out what happened to the Sacred Timeline. But things quickly get complicated when they encounter a new variant of Loki, Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), who is determined to destroy the TVA.
The first few episodes of Loki Season 2 are a bit of a slow burn, but they’re setting up some interesting things for the rest of the season. We’re introduced to a new villain, Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), who is shaping up to be a major player in the MCU. And we’re also getting to see more of Loki’s backstory, which is helping us to understand his motivations.
But what really makes Loki Season 2 so much fun is the humour. The writers have a great sense of humour, and they’re not afraid to poke fun at the MCU. There are some truly laugh-out-loud moments in this season, and they help to keep things light even when the stakes are high.
Of course, no Loki story would be complete without Tom Hiddleston. He’s once again in top form, and he brings so much charisma and energy to the role. Owen Wilson is also great as Mobius, and their chemistry is off the charts.
Overall, Loki Season 2 is a worthy successor to the first season. It’s funny, action-packed, and full of surprises. If you’re a fan of the MCU, or if you just love a good time, then you’ll definitely want to check this one out, view more here.
